Day 30 – “Hey Hey” by The Graves

August 8, 2011 1 comment

And if you sing along with us, better give it all you’ve got!

And with this video, we come to the end of our 30 day journey. I hope you had as much fun watching these videos as we did making them. The amount of support and talent that has come out of this project is overwhelming.

At first we had some difficulty deciding what to do for this band that’s based way out West. Eventually I came up with this. This song is quite an anthem and I figured it would be a nice way to bring all of our artists together. Please enjoy “Hey Hey” by The Graves.

Once again, I’d like to thank all the artists and filmmakers who participated in this project.

Video #11 – “I’ve Decided” by the Graves

And here’s the next Graves video by Jorge A. Garza for their song, “I’ve Decided”. Again playing to the challenge of working with a band out of state (and on the other coast for that matter), Jorge went the route of paint-animation. Enjoy!

Video #6 – “The Beach Song” by The Graves

Here we go with the first of a few videos for one of our out of town bands and West Coast representatives, The Graves. I had a bit of fun with Google Image search this time around. We’ll be hearing a lot more from Sean, Kevin, and Chris during this month. For now, check out, “The Beach Song”

Can you dig it?

Joining our group of musicians is the SoCal based band and internet sensation, The Graves. Welcome guys!

Sean, Kevin, and Chris are not only band-mates but brothers as well. Their sound is mostly pop/punk with catchy beach tunes and feel-good anthems you just can’t help but dance to. They definitely have range though, with some edgier rock songs and really great acoustic pieces. The guys are featured in their own web-series too following the trials and tribulations of their quest to music stardom. Clearly their internet specific following is perfect for this project. It’s obvious they’re having a lot of fun with this!

I’m especially excited to see how we’ll tackle the added challenge of working on opposite coasts. THIS is what we had in mind when we said Project 30 in 30 was based anywhere and everywhere. This will personally be the first time creating a video for a band who I haven’t seen in person at all. Bring it!
