Day 30 – “Hey Hey” by The Graves

August 8, 2011 1 comment

And if you sing along with us, better give it all you’ve got!

And with this video, we come to the end of our 30 day journey. I hope you had as much fun watching these videos as we did making them. The amount of support and talent that has come out of this project is overwhelming.

At first we had some difficulty deciding what to do for this band that’s based way out West. Eventually I came up with this. This song is quite an anthem and I figured it would be a nice way to bring all of our artists together. Please enjoy “Hey Hey” by The Graves.

Once again, I’d like to thank all the artists and filmmakers who participated in this project.

Video #20 – “Everybody Lies” by Melissa Lusk

At long last, here’s a super cute video for a super cute song (with some quite uncute lyrics) – “Everybody Lies” by Melissa Lusk. Melissa found inspiration for the song in a story about two best friends, one with the odd superpower of never needing to sleep. Of course not sleeping has its consequences and the imaginations that would be the little boy’s dreams begin to manifest in his real life.

Taking this theme of dream and modified realities, director Max S Pham and co. have created a fun video that’s slightly off-kilter. Shot by Praveen Elankumaran, edited in part by Patrick Ng, with awesome dance sequences choreographed by Katie Lee Hill. Dancers: Kyle McCoy, Emma Koenig, David Isaacs, Rachel “Fuck Me Ray Bradbury” Bloom, and Matt roi Berger

Be sure to check out Lusk & Friends, Sunday January 16 at Spike Hill in Williamsburg, 9pm (Free show!)

Shooting with Melissa Lusk

Happy Halloween folks!

Well, we’re hitting up every neighborhood and every borough with these shoots!

Spent the day out in Astoria shooting a siiick dance video that literally stopped traffic for Melissa Lusk. Fiiinally got to put my plans for a slow motion/fast motion video to use. Seriously guys, this one will be a TRIP.

Super minimal crew this time around (as everyone and there brother was in DC for the Rally). Directed by Max S. Pham and shot by Praveen Elankumaran. Thanks to our lovely dancers, Kyle McCoy, Emma Koenig, David Isaacs, Rachel Bloom and of course our dancer/bassist/moral support/punny uncle, Matt roi Berger. Props to Katie Lee Hill for choreographing the routine. Apologies to all subjected to my terrible voice due to lack of playback volume. Pictures after the jump!
