Day 30 – “Hey Hey” by The Graves

August 8, 2011 1 comment

And if you sing along with us, better give it all you’ve got!

And with this video, we come to the end of our 30 day journey. I hope you had as much fun watching these videos as we did making them. The amount of support and talent that has come out of this project is overwhelming.

At first we had some difficulty deciding what to do for this band that’s based way out West. Eventually I came up with this. This song is quite an anthem and I figured it would be a nice way to bring all of our artists together. Please enjoy “Hey Hey” by The Graves.

Once again, I’d like to thank all the artists and filmmakers who participated in this project.

Video #18 – “RiverStomp” by Teen Girl Scientist Monthly

“I will go down with this ship…”

Well we’ve finally come to the end of our voyage, or at least with this video. This one was definitely a PROJECT. Had a lot of fun doing some animation work and shooting out in Prospect Park. Great job on all counts! Featuring the director/cinematographer team of Max S Pham and Richard Trammell, AD Ellen Schneider always keeping us on track, G&E Vincenzo Ferriero, editor Jacqueline Sia, and a boat built by TGSM themselves, this was definitely a group effort. Thanks to Melissa Lusk for picking up the slack on all else on set.

Teen Girl Scientist Monthly is:

Here’s a whimsical video for Teen Girl Scientist Monthly’s “RiverStomp”

Don’t forget to stop by TGSM’s EP release party Saturday, December 18 at #13 Thames St, Brooklyn (9pm) to see the show AND a screening of our video.

Well, that was an adventure – setting sail with Teen Girl Scientist Monthly

Craaazy weekend with the kids of Teen Girl Scientist Monthly. Spent Saturday in the park (Prospect, that is), having a picnic and building a boat…out of sticks and construction paper. Props to Matt Gliva for heading the engineering team and to everyone for bringing Matt Berger’s vision to life. Cute anchor by Anne Hartung.

After some transportation fiascos that ultimately lead to retrieving a Uhaul truck to transport the set piece (boat), we encountered some more rough waters trying to maneuver said set piece up a narrow stairwell to set. And then shot an epic voyage against green screen. Some wicked ghetto cell phone photos after the jump.

Awesome job on all counts – Director, Max Pham; DP, Richard Trammell; AD, Ellen Schneider, and G/E/Misc everything Vince Ferreiro. Many thanks to Melissa Lusk (who we’ll be shooting with next week) for being the ‘soccer mom’ on set 😉 and of course to RG and LCS for the venue and to my dad for coming through with a vehicle last minute.
