Day 2, Shoot 1 – This is what “Underground Music” REALLY means

Great adventure today shooting w/ Jonny B Goodman for a song off his new album. Directed/shot by the multi-talented, Mike Raynes.
Spent the day trolling under Riverside Park – dodging trains, breathing in the toxic fumes of rusty spray cans/treated railroad ties, and seeing some amazing mural work from artists and vandals alike. I’ve officially added a new favorite spot to check out in my book of hidden NYC hangouts. And appropriate location for a song about gentrification, home and as Jonny puts it, “what it means to be a host or a guest in a city like New York.”
